Soccer Game Preview: North Muskegon vs. Lakeview

The North Muskegon Norsemen will face off against the Lakeview Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

North Muskegon barely beat Covenant Christian the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Norsemen were the clear victors by a 5-2 margin over the Chargers on Saturday. Given North Muskegon's advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 66th, while Covenant Christian are ranked 260th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Lakeview kept a clean sheet against Crossroads Charter Academy on Wednesday. They blew past the Cougars 8-0. Lakeview haven't had any issues with Crossroads Charter Academy recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

North Muskegon's victory bumped their record up to 11-1-4. As for Lakeview, their win bumped their record up to 8-10-2.
