At the plate, Kimberlyn Wood and Kamryn Elliott did most of the damage at the plate: Wood went 3-for-4 with three runs, one double, and one RBI, while Elliott got on base in all four of her plate appearances with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. That's the most runs Elliott has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaylyn McDaniel, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two RBI and one run.
Princeton was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .375. They are 3-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Princeton's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-8 and their overall record up to 4-14. As for Evansville Harrison, their loss dropped their record down to 3-12.
