Griswold took a six-run defeat the last time they faced off against Sidney, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Tigers skirted past the Cowboys 5-4. The Tigers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Griswold's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Sidney, their loss was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-4.
