Soccer Game Preview: ILTexas Arlington vs. Newman International Academy

The ILTexas Arlington Eagles are taking a road trip to take on the Newman International Academy Warriors at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Friday just wasn't the day for ILTexas Arlington's offense. They fell just short of Arlington Heights by a score of 1-0 last Friday. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Newman International Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak two weeks ago. They lost 6-0 to North Central Texas Academy. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 582nd, while the Pioneers are ranked 61st).

ILTexas Arlington's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Newman International Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-5.
