UCLA-bound quarterback is proving 2013 was no fluke.



Last year Josh Rosen was a huge reason why St. John Bosco (Bellflower, Calif.) finished No. 1 in the MaxPreps Computer Rankings.

Rosen threw for 3,200 yards and 32 touchdowns, sparking the offense of what some considered the greatest team of all-time from Southern California.

In 2014, Rosen is proving that 2013 was no fluke.



With a commitment to UCLA in March, Rosen has been able to spend his senior season solely focused on St. John Bosco's season.

The 6-foot-4 senior has been even better so far this fall. In two games, he's thrown for 616 yards and six touchdowns and has not been intercepted.

He's led St. John Bosco to a No. 4 ranking in this week's MaxPreps Xcellent 25 National Football Rankings.

Rosen and St. John Bosco have thrived despite the loss of a slew of key contributors from last year's Open Division Bowl Game-winning squad that finished 16-0.

On Friday, Rosen and company will hit the road for Las Vegas to take on this year's No. 1-ranked team in the MaxPreps Computer Rankings: Bishop Gorman.



247Sports ranks Rosen as the nation's No. 1 pro-style quarterback and the No. 10 recruit in the country.

He headlines a talented Bruins 2015 recruiting class that features the nation's top tight end, Alize Jones, who will suit up for Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas) on Friday night.

In his decorated career, Rosen has so far thrown for 5,903 yards and 67 touchdowns. He will likely go down has one of the most prolific California quarterbacks of all time.
