Soccer Recap: Lutheran-Northeast Takes a Loss

Lutheran-Northeast's game on Monday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Plattsmouth Blue Devils by a score of 1-0. Having soared to a lofty five goals in the game before, Lutheran-Northeast's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Lutheran-Northeast's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Plattsmouth, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-5.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Lutheran-Northeast will challenge rival Ralston at 5:00 p.m. on the 22nd. Meanwhile, Plattsmouth is set to square off against their familiar foe Conestoga at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
