Volleyball Recap: Presentation Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Presentation was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Aptos Mariners. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mariners apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2021.

The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 24-26, 25-14, 25-23.

Michaela Artmore paced Presentation's offense, picking up eight kills. Artmore got some help from Penny Johnson and her 21 assists. Finally, Alenena Masters kept Presentation's defense grounded, leading the team with five blocks.

Presentation's loss dropped their record down to 7-23. As for Aptos, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-11.

Looking ahead, Presentation will face off against Archbishop Riordan at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Aptos has already played their next contest (against Soquel), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
