Lone Pine is a perfect 4-0 against Immanuel Christian since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. On Thursday, Lone Pine made easy work of Mojave and carried off a 12-1 victory. Considering the Golden Eagles have won six games by more than seven runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Immanuel Christian lost 26-9 to Trona on Friday. The Crusaders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lone Pine has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.6 runs over those games. As for Immanuel Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4-1.

Lone Pine took their victory against Immanuel Christian when the teams last played back in May of 2023 by a conclusive 25-4 score. Will the Golden Eagles repeat their success, or do the Crusaders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
