Soccer Recap: Triton Regional Takes a Loss

Triton Regional was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 5-0 to the Lynnfield Pioneers. While losing is never fun, Triton Regional can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts soccer rankings (they are ranked 291st, while Lynnfield are ranked 80th).

Triton Regional's loss dropped their record down to 0-11-1. As for Lynnfield, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-1-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Triton Regional will challenge rival Hamilton-Wenham Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Lynnfield is set to take on their familiar foe Manchester Essex at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
