Warrensburg-Latham got themselves on the board against Meridian on Thursday, but Meridian never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Hawks with a sharp 7-0 win. The victory was nothing new for the Cardinals as they're now sitting on nine straight.

Eastyn McKenzie was incredible, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (three). Kristopher Lawson was another key player, scoring a run while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

Warrensburg-Latham was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .455. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .300 or higher in three consecutive contests.

Warrensburg-Latham's win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-1. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games.
