Carle Place has been on the road for two straight, but on Monday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Cold Spring Harbor Seahawks at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Thursday, Carle Place earned a 55-42 victory over the Rocks. With that win, Carle Place brought their scoring average up to 50.1 points per game.

Caitlin Leary was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 36 points and 12 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Carle Place's points. Ava Gomes was another key contributor, scoring four points along with 12 rebounds and two steals.

Meanwhile, Cold Spring Harbor scored the most points they've had all season to find success back in January. They came out on top against Carle Place by a score of 53-40. The score was all tied up 20-20 at the break, but Cold Spring Harbor was the better team in the second half.

Carle Place pushed their record up to 12-5 with that win, which was their third straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.3 points per game. As for Cold Spring Harbor, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.
