Softball Recap: Wink Wildcats vs. McCamey Badgers

Wink never got on the board in their matchup last Tuesday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against McCamey on Friday. They blew past the Badgers 11-0. Considering the Wildcats' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Viviana Flores made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over five innings pitched. She also allowed five hits, marking her first of the season. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances.
