Volleyball Recap: Beech Grove Takes a Loss

Beech Grove was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 22nd straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the North Decatur Chargers. If the Hornets were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Chargers when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Beech Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for North Decatur, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Beech Grove will venture away from home to square off against Triton Central at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Decatur, they will head out to face off against Rushville at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Lions will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Chargers surely won't give up without a fight.
