If Clarksburg wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Northwest, they should've done a better job of containing Jaylin Ouattara. The Northwest Jaguars escaped with a win on Friday against the Clarksburg Coyotes by the margin of a single free throw, 56-55 thanks in part to Ouattara, who went 8 for 12 to rack up 17 points and seven boards. That's the most points he has posted since back in December of 2024.

Northwest is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season. As for Clarksburg, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-14.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northwest will face off against Poolesville at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Clarksburg, they will take on Quince Orchard at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
