Volleyball Recap: Thomas A. Edison Comes Up Short

Thomas A. Edison managed to slip by Carver High School of Engineering & Science the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Owls came up short against Carver High School of Engineering & Science on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Owls were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Carver High School of Engineering & Science apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

While Thomas A. Edison was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-22, 25-21.

Thomas A. Edison's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-6-1. As for Carver High School of Engineering & Science, their win bumped their record up to 5-2.

Looking ahead, Thomas A. Edison will take on William Allen at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Carver High School of Engineering & Science, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against George Washington on the 9th.
