Superior typically has all the answers at home, but on Saturday Watertown proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 7-2 victory over the Spartans. The win was familiar territory for the Goslings, who have now won seven matches in a row.

Watertown pushed their record up to 16-4 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.7 runs over those games. As for Superior, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-6.

Coming up, Watertown will head out to challenge Oregon at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their 21st straight victory, something the Goslings surely won't give up without a fight. As for Superior, they will challenge Northwestern at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers' pitching crew has only allowed 1.8 runs per game this season, so the Spartans' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
