Baseball Recap: North Central Takes a Loss

North Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Linton-Stockton Miners, falling 9-2. If the Thunderbirds were looking for revenge after losing 8-0 to the Miners when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

North Central's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Linton-Stockton, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

North Central has already played their next game (against Eastern Greene), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Linton-Stockton, they will square off against Northview at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
