Baseball Recap: Cranberry Area Berries vs. North Clarion Wolves

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against West Middlesex, Cranberry Area was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the North Clarion Wolves. This was payback for the Berries, who suffered a 5-3 loss the last time these two teams met.

Connor Morrow made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 15 over 6.2 innings pitched. Those 15 strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and one double.

In other batting news, Cole Findlay was excellent, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.
