Basketball Game Preview: Gruver Greyhounds vs. Miles Bulldogs

The Gruver Greyhounds and the Miles Bulldogs will meet in a dog eat dog contest on Monday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Gruver is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They blew past Floydada 62-41. The Greyhounds have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Miles escaped with a win on Thursday against Whiteface by the margin of a single free throw, 52-51. That's two games straight that the Bulldogs have won by just one point.

Miles has been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 15 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.3 points over those games. The victory made it two in a row for Gruver and bumps their season record up to 18-1.
