Baseball Recap: Green County Dragons vs. Nelson County Cardinals

Green County won against Larue County last Wednesday with five runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. The Dragons walked away with a 5-1 victory over the Nelson County Cardinals. Winning may never get old, but the Dragons sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Tatum Durrett spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on four hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Green County's win was truly a team effort as seven different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Cash Jones, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with two RBI.
Green County's victory bumped their record up to 19-11. As for Nelson County, their loss dropped their record down to 20-12.
As of now, neither Green County nor the Cardinals have any future games scheduled.
