Basketball Recap: Thursday's Win Is Barron Collier's Seventh in Last Nine Outings

First Baptist Academy typically has all the answers at home, but on Thursday Barron Collier proved too difficult a challenge. They skirted past the First Baptist Academy Lions 45-42. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Cougars have posted since November 29, 2024.

Spencer Clayton was his usual excellent self, putting up 11 points and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Christian Olander, who posted ten points.

Barron Collier has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season. As for First Baptist Academy, their loss ended a ten-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 22-2.
