Etiwanda entered their tilt with Temecula Valley on Friday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They had just enough and edged the Temecula Valley Golden Bears out 2-1. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 66th, while the Golden Bears are ranked 279th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Etiwanda's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Temecula Valley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-4.
