Volleyball Recap: Redlands Adventist Academy Takes a Loss

Redlands Adventist Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the San Gabriel Academy Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in February.

Redlands Adventist Academy took San Gabriel Academy into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking seven-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-19, 15-25, 22-25, 15-8.

Redlands Adventist Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for San Gabriel Academy, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-5.

Coming up, Redlands Adventist Academy will head out to square off against Aquinas at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for San Gabriel Academy, they will welcome Capistrano Valley Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Capistrano Valley Christian will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something San Gabriel Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
