Softball Recap: Scott County Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against South Warren, Scott County was happy to have turned things around on Monday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Tates Creek Commodores a 3-0 shutout. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Cardinals also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

Scott County's victory bumped their record up to 19-4. As for Tates Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-14.

Looking ahead, Scott County will head out to challenge Bryan Station at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Cardinals 1.7, the Defenders 1.9) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Tates Creek, they will host Lafayette at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
