Young Americans Christian proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by three) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Rockdale County Bulldogs 2-1. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Young Americans Christian got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 21-25, 15-10.

Young Americans Christian's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Rockdale County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-8.

Coincidentally, Young Americans Christian and Rockdale County will both be playing Morrow the next time they take the court. The Bulldogs will host the Mustangs at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Eagles will play them later in the day, at 6:30 p.m.
