Volleyball Game Preview: Seligman Antelopes vs. Grand Canyon Phantoms

Seligman hasn't had much luck against Grand Canyon recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Antelopes will venture away from home to face off against the Phantoms at 3:00 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Seligman came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to Mogollon.

Meanwhile, Grand Canyon came up short against Joseph City on Friday, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Phantoms in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost seven in a row.

Seligman's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Grand Canyon, their loss dropped their record down to 2-12.

Seligman beat Grand Canyon 3-1 when the teams last played back in September. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Antelopes since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
