Cinco Ranch has gone 5-0 against Paetow recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Cinco Ranch Cougars challenge the Paetow Panthers at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Cinco Ranch has nine straight wins, Paetow has six straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Last Friday, in a tight contest that could have gone either way, Cinco Ranch made off with a 58-57 victory over Jordan. Given the Cougars' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 82nd, while the Warriors are ranked 223rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Paetow came up short against Morton Ranch on Friday and fell 47-37.

Cinco Ranch's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-5. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 19.2 points. As for Paetow, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-15.

Cinco Ranch took their victory against Paetow in their previous matchup back in December of 2024 by a conclusive 56-33. The rematch might be a little tougher for Cinco Ranch since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
