Lakeville North came out on top against Lakeville South on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run first inning. The Panthers narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Cougars 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Panthers have posted against the Cougars since May 4, 2022.

Aivry Abraham spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four runs (all of which were unearned) on seven hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up a single earned run in eight consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Ryleigh Brenno, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one run and one RBI.
