Miller County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 91-61 defeat at the hands of the Calhoun County Cougars. One positive for the Pirates, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Miller County's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Calhoun County, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Miller County and Quitman County will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Calhoun County, they will be home for the holidays to greet Terrell County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
