Basketball Game Preview: Bellflower Buccaneers vs. Norwalk Lancers

The Bellflower Buccaneers will face off against the Norwalk Lancers at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Bellflower is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Warren just ended the team's 11-game winning streak on Friday. They fell to the Bears 59-53. While the Buccaneers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Bears 22-11 in the first quarter.

Meanwhile, Norwalk unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 56-49 to Downey.

Norwalk's defeat dropped their record down to 15-9. As for Bellflower, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 17-8.

Bellflower didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Norwalk in their previous meeting on January 10th, but they still walked away with a 48-42 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bellflower since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
