Basketball Recap: Escalante Comes Up Short

Escalante lost against McCurdy on February 6th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Escalante Lobos were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 44-43 to the McCurdy Bobcats. The Lobos have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ryan Montoya continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for McCurdy, putting up 16 points and six boards. Another player making a difference was Judah Duran, who posted ten points.

Escalante now has a losing record of 12-13. As for McCurdy, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 18-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Escalante nor McCurdy have any future games scheduled.
