Soccer Game Preview: Mansfield Summit vs. Cleburne

The Mansfield Summit Jaguars will head out on the road to face off against the Cleburne Yellowjackets at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mansfield Summit is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.

Mansfield Summit's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They put the hurt on Mansfield Timberview with a sharp 3-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Jaguars, who have now won four games by three goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, after soaring to six goals the game before, Cleburne was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They fell just short of Everman by a score of 2-1.

Mansfield Summit pushed their record up to 7-5-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those five matchups. As for Cleburne, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5-5.
