Baseball Recap: Dover-Sherborn Takes a Loss

Dover-Sherborn was the 7-6 winner over Westwood when they last played one another back in May of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Raiders took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wolverines on Wednesday. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

P Shusda made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played. Luke Napoli also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Dover-Sherborn's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Westwood, they pushed their record up to 9-7-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Dover-Sherborn is set to square off against their familiar foe Medfield at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Westwood will challenge rival Dedham at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
