Thurston had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They really took it to the Crater Comets for the full four quarters, racking up a 44-7 win. Considering the Colts have won four games by more than 30 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

It was another big night for Justin Fisher, who rushed for 106 yards and one touchdown.

Thurston has already played their next matchup, a 27-16 win against Churchill on the 17th. As for Crater, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 29-17 victory against North Eugene on the 17th.
