Kings Mountain had already won 20 in a row and they went ahead and made it 21 on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Huss Huskies with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Kings Mountain took every set by at least 22 points. The final score came out to 25-3, 25-3, 25-2.

Denet Houey paced Kings Mountain's offense, picking up 26 kills. Houey got some help from Camden Pasour and her 32 assists. Abigail Hedgepath controlled things from the service line, finishing with eight aces.

Kings Mountain's victory bumped their record up to 29-1. As for Huss, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Kings Mountain will square off against rival Crest at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Huss is set to face off against their familiar foe Ashbrook at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
