Softball Recap: Valley Vikings vs. Burbank Titans

Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Burbank Titans, falling 30-15. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Titans apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2020.

Valley got a massive performance out of Mariah Abina-Price, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-2. E'Lonni Wright was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Burbank, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Valley didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 7-0 loss against Johnson on the 4th. As for Burbank, they have also already played their next contest, a 15-3 defeat against West Campus on the 4th.
