Newington won the last time they faced Plainville and things went their way on Thursday too. The Newington Nor'easters came out on top against the Plainville Blue Devils by a score of 35-24.

Newington's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Haylie Sanchez led the charge by putting up 13 points. That's the most points Sanchez has posted since back in March of 2024. Kendall Miller was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with ten points and nine boards.

Newington is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season. As for Plainville, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-6.
