Baseball Recap: Heritage Comes Up Short

Heritage was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 35th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 23-3 to the Amherst County Lancers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lancers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-3 back in April.

Heritage's loss dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Amherst County, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Heritage will face off against King's Fork at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Amherst County, they will take on Brookville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
