Basketball Recap: Ford Comes Up Short

Ford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were dealt a 63-18 loss at the hands of the Hamady Hawks. The matchup marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Ford's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Hamady, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ford won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Walled Lake Western at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Walled Lake Western has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last five games. As for Hamady, they will look to defend their home court on January 6, 2025 against Bendle at 7:00 a.m. One thing working in Bendle's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five matches.
