Mead is a perfect 10-0 against Ferris since February of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Panthers will host the Saxons at 6:00 p.m.

Mead is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Washington's top teams: Gonzaga Prep, who was ranked first at the time (Mead was ranked 17th). The Panthers took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bullpups on Saturday.

Meanwhile, it's playoff time, and Ferris had no trouble coming through when it counted. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Chiawana on Saturday. The victory continues a trend for the Saxons in their matchups with the Riverhawks: they've now won three in a row.

The win didn't come easy: Chiawana scored at least 20 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-20, 25-27, 25-23.

Ferris' victory bumped their record up to 7-12-1. As for Mead, their loss dropped their record down to 14-7.

Mead beat Ferris 3-1 in their previous meeting back in October. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Saxons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
