While Kouts put up plenty of runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Marquette Catholic. The Mustangs & Fillies put the hurt on the Blazers with a sharp 14-0 victory. Considering the Mustangs & Fillies have won seven matchups by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Reese Carden was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out eight over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.
