Softball Recap: Weyauwega-Fremont Comes Up Short

If Weyauwega-Fremont was feeling good fresh off their 9-1 takedown of Iola-Scandinavia on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Warhawks fell 4-1 to the Manawa Wolves on Tuesday. The Warhawks haven't had much luck with the Wolves recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Weyauwega-Fremont's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Manawa, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-2.

Weyauwega-Fremont wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 7-3 victory against Shiocton on the 15th. As for Manawa, they have also already played their next matchup, a 10-0 win against Amherst on the 15th.
