Como-Pickton had already won seven in a row and they went ahead and made it eight on Friday. They blew past the Yantis Owls 3-0. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Owls, too.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Como-Pickton took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-4, 25-15.

Como-Pickton's victory bumped their record up to 22-10. As for Yantis, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-13.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Como-Pickton is set to challenge their familiar foe North Hopkins at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Yantis will square off against rival Fruitvale at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
