Volleyball Recap: Make It Six in a Row for Wonderful College Prep Academy

It was a proper cat-fight when Wonderful College Prep Academy duked it out with Parlier on Tuesday. The Lions blew past the Panthers 3-0. The victory was familiar territory for the Lions, who have now won six matches in a row.

Wonderful College Prep Academy not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Parlier between 14 and 17 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-17, 25-14.

Victor Hernandez paced Wonderful College Prep Academy's offense, picking up eight kills. Hernandez got some help from Aaron Lopez and his 15 assists. Oscar Zarza controlled things from the service line, finishing with eight aces.

Wonderful College Prep Academy pushed their record up to 8-6 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Parlier, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-11.

Coming up, Wonderful College Prep Academy will challenge Fresno at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Parlier, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Fresno Christian at 5:30 p.m. on the 22nd.
