Rustburg not only won  on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win  since April 26, 2024. They were the clear victor by  an  11-1 margin over the William Campbell Generals. The Red Devils haven't had any issues with the Generals recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive  victory against them.
 Paiten Archer spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a  run (which was  unearned)  on five hits.
 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Nahla Bigham, who  got on base  in three of her four plate appearances with one  home run, three  runs,  and two  RBI. That's the most  runs  she has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of  Samiyah Jackson, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-3.
 Rustburg  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 11  hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as William Campbell only managed six  hits.
Rustburg's win bumped their record up to 2-0.
 Coming up, Rustburg will face off against Appomattox County at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for William Campbell, they are headed away from home for the first time to  take on  Brookville  at 5:30  p.m.  on March 26th.
