Basketball Recap: Midway Finds Home Court Redemption Against Temple

There's no place like home for Midway, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They managed a 39-35 win over the Temple Wildcats on Friday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Panthers as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Midway's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-9. As for Temple, their loss dropped their record down to 10-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Midway will take on Timber Creek in a tournament on Friday. As for Temple, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Harker Heights at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
