Basketball Recap: Lathrop Starts Season with Loss at Home

Lathrop unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Monroe Catholic Rams on Friday, falling 43-21. The Malemutes just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row dating back to last season.

Lathrop will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Ketchikan on Friday. Monroe Catholic and Homer will round out the year against one another at at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
