Basketball Game Preview: Armijo Royals vs. West Campus Warriors

The Armijo Royals will square off against the West Campus Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Armijo took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They strolled past Florin with points to spare, taking the game 51-34. The game marked the Royals' most dominant win of the season.

Armijo got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jamire Singleton out in front who posted 12 points. Willie Nickson was another key player, putting up ten points.

Meanwhile, West Campus blew past Valley, posting a 68-41 win. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 639th, while the Vikings are ranked 1329th), the result on Wednesday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Armijo's victory bumped their record up to 3-14. As for West Campus, their win bumped their record up to 8-9.
