Recap: Eatonville Cruisers vs. Royal Knights
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Eatonville Cruisers can now relate to. They were outmatched by Royal on the road and fell 50-0. Eatonville's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
Hunter Klumpar threw for 52 yards on 12 of 24 attempts. Jacob Simons was his top target, picking up 29 receiving yards. On the ground, Dylan Norman rushed for 36 yards.
Lance Allred went supernova for Royal, throwing for 328 yards and four touchdowns while completing 90.5% of his passes, and also punching in a touchdown on the ground. Case Christensen also helped out with an impressive 116 receiving yards.
Eatonville's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Royal, they pushed their record up to 10-0 with that win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.
Eatonville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Royal will take on Omak at TBD on Saturday. Omak will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
