Soccer Game Preview: Bishop LeBlond vs. Chillicothe

The Bishop LeBlond Eagles are taking a road trip to face off against the Chillicothe Hornets at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Bishop LeBlond's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Bishop LeBlond fell victim to Savannah and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They came up short against the Savages, falling 8-0.

Meanwhile, Chillicothe also failed to score in their most recent game. They lost 5-0 to Kirksville on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for Chillicothe in their meetings with Kirksville: they've now lost seven in a row.

Chillicothe's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Bishop LeBlond, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.

Bishop LeBlond took their victory against Chillicothe in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 5-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
